A: When your current web hosting provider can no longer measure up to the necessities of your web site, or when you undergo regular downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the tech support team to respond to you, it might be smart to swap your hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your present provider to your future provider. This is why we’ll accomplish all that for you for free!Our expert technical staff members will migrate your web site content from your current provider to us. Our techs have got lots of experience migrating websites and are able to take care of everything – from a conventional WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™–powered website, to a very complex, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact ETA, since there are plenty of factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our very best to move your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not large).

A: We will need the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel and the website’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share basically the same info you have provided to your current host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate info is tackled.

A: While we move your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. When the migration is finished, we’ll ensure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your web content is not affected prior to informing you that the migration is completed. Then we will explain to you how to transfer the domain over to your web hosting account with us and how to update your DNS settings.

A: While we transfer your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will not get in touch with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source web site creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
